F*THS, like Same Page was one of those stories if we hadn't realised in the beginning of our writing career, we probably never would have.
It was a story with a ton of emotions, but also plagued with partying and drug usage, which if it isn't your thing, it'll make you uncomfortable.
Interesting fact! Reggie and Asher are actually based on two friends of mine. Libertad and I actually don't smoke weed and never have, and we looked to both of them to all the tips to get most of those scenes authentic.
I've mentioned in the past it was a much different story, but I think Teddy, the leading lady is someone who's extremely easy to love or hate. Part of making her that way, was based on how Black women are often percieved in general. Difficult. Mean. Unlikeable unless we're always smiling.
We're glad we released Same Page and F*THS in the beginning, because while Teddy's response was mixed, we would've felt obligated to always release a likeable heroine, and there's no fun in that!
Teddy had two rules—Live for the moment and never look back.
