So Obsessive Pimpette's has taken the time to organize this lovely tour for us!
Wander This World is a different kind of story compared to what we've already published. I still can't believe we're about to go on our anniversary of our first year published in August =D
But outside of our Sterling Wayfairer series, most of the stand alone speculative fiction ideas we have are actually Dark Romance/Fantasy.
It's a real learning process to figure those things out when you release a title. For a long time we'd always seen Wander This World as a paranormal romance, which expects different things from it's heroines.
Melanie is an anti-hero. She makes questionable decisions, and as dark as the serial killer obsessed with her. Based on the themes of Dark Romance and Dark Fantasy versus Paranormal Romance, characters can be as questionable, as dark, or as bad as you want them to be. They don't always have to do the right thing.
And it's just super that her love interest is Penley, a Filipino-American army brat who loves every dark part about Melanie.
Melanie's identity was easiest for me, because I love writing LGBQTIA+ characters, but pansexual characters I excel the best at since that's how I identify.
It was sad finishing this book, but Melanie's interesting showdown made it totally worth the finish.
Wander This World is definitely for any reader who likes anti-hero women, sex and folk who like revenge served bloody!
